At-Home Mini Spa Day

Hey guys!

Have you ever been to the Asian grocery store and seen all the different beauty products?

I have always been a little uncomfortable to try them out but last time I decided to buy some of the different masks they were selling.

I tried the pomegranate one first and I fell in love! At that point I knew I had to make a video and share my experience with the world!

These were the 3 different masks that I decided to try… Pomegranate Essence Mask, Phytoncide Essence Mask and Placenta Essence Mask. At-Home Mini Spa Day - Who doesn't need some much DESERVED me time?! Lovely DIY spa day tips and tricks <3 | danisdiys.com.

Phytoncide (which is a word I still have a ton of trouble pronouncing as you can clearly hear in my video below :p ) according to Wikipedia:

Phytoncides are antimicrobial allelochemic volatile organic compounds derived from plants. The word, which means “exterminated by the plant”, was coined in 1928 by Dr. Boris P. Tokin, a Russian biochemist from Leningrad University.

So in a nutshell, they are great for your skin! 🙂

Don’t be afraid of the Placenta one (as you can see my friend Gabby is in the video! LOL )

Placenta facial treatments contains a placenta protein that comes predominantly from sheep. These facial treatments have many benefits.  Placenta is an effective skin-firmer, lifter and hydrator. Additionally, these placenta facial treatments are great for anti-aging as they promote collagen production and increase skin elasticity.

Hope you guys enjoy the video and don’t forget to subscribe to my channel! 😉
